Three characteristics that shape Kevin Daniel’s story, both personally and professionally.

He was raised in Oklahoma and it was there that he got his start in real estate working alongside his family, flipping homes, and working in marketing and operations. Eventually, his career took him to California and ultimately to the DMV area. Each move added a new layer of expertise and a unique understanding of diverse markets.

One of the ways Kevin’s creative side comes into play is through his passion for photography. He fell in love with breathtaking landscapes on a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and a trip to Peru where he climbed the mountains behind Machu Picchu. (No surprise that New Zealand, with its dramatic scenery, tops his bucket list!) Early in his career, he owned a photography business where he captured people, nature, and landscapes. He developed a strong eye for composition, lighting, and presentation and today he shares that invaluable expertise with his sellers, helping them showcase their homes in the best possible light.

Kevin is also a skilled musician and passionate drummer who played snare drum in high school marching band and continues to play drums as an adult. His longtime inspiration is one of the best — legendary jazz drummer, Buddy Rich. Rich knew the drummer sets the rhythm, the pace, the flow. He said ‘a great band with an average drummer sounds average, But an average band with a great drummer sounds great.’ Kevin adopted that same philosophy in real estate. He is committed to doing all he can to deliver a great experience for his clients. And (like percussion), that includes setting the rhythm, the pace, and the flow by expertly guiding, educating, and advocating for his clients every step of the way.

Kevin stays grounded remembering his grandfather’s advice: “Don’t forget where you came from.” A simple reminder to stay humble and remember that at the end of the day his purpose is to help people. To turn every client into a lifelong client. And, like the great drummer he is, to make the song better.
